Media kit
Everything you need to write about this, or to put it in front of your neighbours.
For reporters, residents, neighbourhood and resident associations, BIAs, community groups, and anyone with a website who wants to point people here. The text is on this page with a copy button beside it and the files are one click each. Nothing is behind a form, and if something you need is missing, write to hello@solvecanada.ca.
Before you take anything: Everything on the media kit page is covered: the written copy as well as the logos, icons, wordmarks, screenshots and city cards. Taking any of it, by copy button, by download, or out of the zip, means you accept these rules. Read them first.
Words you can use
Copy any of these straight off the page, whether you are filing a story, writing a newsletter to your street, or putting a line on your own site. The numbers are live, so a fact sheet copied today carries today's counts and never drifts from what residents see.
One-liner
For a caption or a lede.
Solve Canada is a free reporting tool that turns a photo of a neighbourhood problem into a complete report to the city, live in seven Ontario cities.
Boilerplate
For the bottom of the article.
Solve Canada is a free civic reporting platform serving residents of seven Ontario cities. A resident photographs a problem on their street, the platform writes the report and attaches the location, and it goes to the city's own service channels alongside the ward councillor. Every report then stays on a public map with whatever the city did about it, which is the part residents almost never get to see. Solve Canada was built by Ahmed Nadar, has been carrying resident reports since February 17, 2026, and runs on the cities' own published open data.
Founder bio
Three sentences, third person.
Ahmed Nadar is the founder of Solve Canada. He is a software engineer in Toronto who got tired of swerving around the same pothole, built the reporting tool he wanted to exist, and kept building until seven cities were on it. He writes about the work at ahmednadar.com.
